Civil rights are the rights and freedoms guaranteed to all individuals by the U.S. Constitution and federal and state laws. These include things like the right to free speech, the right to vote, and the right to equal treatment under the law regardless of race, gender, or other characteristics.
Justice for Benjamin Nida is looking for any types of discrimination cases, including those based on prior medical conditions and disability status.
Police misconduct refers to any improper action taken by law enforcement officers, including excessive use of force, false arrest, and racial profiling.
We are using the hashtag #JusticeforBenjaminNida on articles and photos and stories shared online thru every platform we can to bring awareness to Ben's story and to connect with other stories of misconduct to understand how to demand reform and change for others in the future and to fight for justice for Ben's wife and children for his death.
Please visit the website for his obituary, there you can leave a message for the family or to Ben : https://www.reflection-pointe.com/obituaries/benjamin-nida
